Role OverviewWe are looking for a sharp and analytical Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, monitor, and analyze cyber threats targeting LockedIn AI’s platform, AI systems, users, and infrastructure.
This is an intelligence-driven security role, not just monitoring. You will collect and interpret threat data from multiple sources, identify patterns in attacker behavior, and turn raw intelligence into actionable insights that strengthen our defenses.
You will help protect a 1M+ user AI-native platform from evolving threats including AI system attacks, credential abuse, phishing campaigns, data scraping, and adversarial manipulation.
Key Responsibilities 1. Threat Monitoring & Intelligence Collection- Continuously monitor OSINT, threat feeds, forums, and security communities
- Identify emerging threats targeting AI systems, SaaS platforms, and user accounts
- Track threat actors, campaigns, and attack patterns relevant to LockedIn AI
- Monitor credential leaks, phishing campaigns, impersonation, and data exposure
- Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Produce actionable intelligence reports for engineering and leadership teams
- Deliver tactical alerts (IOCs, indicators, mitigations) for active threats
- Create strategic reports on evolving cyber risk trends and threat landscapes
- Maintain structured intelligence databases and threat actor profiles
- Research AI-specific attacks including prompt injection and model exploitation
- Track adversarial behavior against LLM systems and AI APIs
- Map threats using frameworks like MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM guidelines
- Monitor AI-powered cyber threats including phishing, deepfakes, and automation attacks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate intelligence into defenses
- Support security engineering with threat context during incidents
- Help map incidents to known threat actors or campaigns
- Contribute to detection rules, SIEM queries, and alert enrichment
- Assist in post-incident analysis and long-term mitigation strategies
- Monitor CVEs, exploit trends, and security disclosures relevant to our stack
- Assess real-world exploitability and threat relevance of vulnerabilities
- Prioritize risks based on attacker interest and exposure likelihood
- Support engineering teams in threat-informed vulnerability remediation
- Work closely with engineering, security, and leadership teams
- Translate complex threat intelligence into clear, actionable insights
- Contribute to internal security awareness and training initiatives
- Stay current with evolving threat intelligence tools and methodologies
- 3+ years in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or security research
- Experience producing actionable intelligence for technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on OSINT investigation or threat monitoring experience
- Experience working in cross-functional security environments
- Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, attacker behavior, and TTPs
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, and OWASP LLM Top 10
- Experience with OSINT tools, threat feeds, and intelligence platforms
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, etc.)
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Experience with Python or scripting for automation or analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and structured reasoning under uncertainty
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Adversarial mindset — thinks like an attacker to anticipate threats
- Strong written communication for technical and executive audiences
- Self-driven investigator who proactively hunts for emerging threats
- Experience with AI/LLM-specific security threats
- Background in dark web intelligence or threat actor attribution
- Experience supporting incident response teams
- Familiarity with AI security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS)
- Automation of threat intelligence workflows or alert enrichment systems
- Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or high-scale consumer platforms
- Contributions to OSINT or cybersecurity research communities
- Early-stage startup or founding team experience
